By accessing or using https://mywebguy.com.au (the “Site”), you agree to these Website Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
The Site is operated by MyWebGuy (ABN 31 645 933 746). The apex
domain is canonical; www may not resolve. These Terms cover use of this
website only. Paid services are governed by a separate Client Service Agreement / statement
of work; those documents prevail for the engagement if they conflict with these Terms.
2. Who the Site is for
The Site describes MyWebGuy’s services for small businesses, trades, and charity clients. It is general information for adults making business decisions. You must be capable of entering a contract under Australian law to request services through the Site.
3. No professional advice via the Site alone
Content on the Site is general information only. It is not legal, tax, accounting, financial, or other professional advice tailored to your situation. Do not rely on Site content alone. Engaging MyWebGuy for paid work happens through separate discussion, scoping, and written terms—not merely by browsing.
4. Enquiries and contact
Contact us by phone (0477 111 343), email ([email protected]), or the Microsoft Forms enquiry link when configured. Information you submit must be accurate to the best of your knowledge. Submitting an enquiry does not create a binding contract or guaranteed response time. We aim to reply during ordinary Australia/Sydney business hours.

5. Acceptable use
- Do not use the Site unlawfully, harmfully, or fraudulently
- Do not attempt unauthorised access to the Site or related systems
- Do not overload, scrape abusively, or interfere with availability
- Do not introduce malware or probe vulnerabilities without written consent
- Do not misrepresent your identity when contacting us
- Do not commercially republish Site content without permission (see IP)
We may suspend or block access if we reasonably believe these Terms are breached.
6. Intellectual property

Client deliverables are governed by the relevant client agreement, not these Terms.

The Site may link to third parties or use tools such as Microsoft Forms, Cloudflare, and Google Analytics. Those services have their own terms. We are not responsible for third-party content or availability.
8. Disclaimer of warranties (Site)
The Site is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation, or that content is complete for your purposes.
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, or remedy under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) that cannot be excluded, restricted, or modified.
9. Liability (ACL-aware)
Where our liability relating to the Site can be limited under the ACL, it is limited—at our option—to supplying the services again or paying the cost of having them supplied again, to the extent the law allows.
Subject to the ACL and non-excludable rights: we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss from Site use; and our total aggregate liability from Site use is limited to AUD $100, or any amount you paid us specifically for Site-related access in the prior 12 months (if any), whichever is greater. Liability for paid client work is set out in the applicable Client Service Agreement / SOW.
10. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect via the Site and related tools. By using the Site, you acknowledge that policy.
11. Changes
We may change Site content or these Terms at any time. The Effective date will update when Terms change. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. If you disagree, stop using the Site.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. You submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales and courts entitled to hear appeals from them. Contact us first so we can try to resolve issues informally.
13. General
If any part of these Terms is held invalid, the rest continues. Failure to enforce a right is not a waiver. These Terms are the entire agreement regarding Site use (not paid services). We may transfer our rights in a business transfer; you may not assign without our consent.
